MBA Business Calculus Fast Track - Applied Calculus
Many students going into an MBA program need to complete a "single-semester Calculus course for non-majors" to satisfy their calculus entrance requirement.Often these MBA bound students need to finish their course on a fast-track.
Our Distance Calculus courses are designed so that you may start your course immediately, and finish the course as quickly as your academic skills allow. For many students, this means usually about 3 weeks, although some world's records have been set at 9 days!
In addition to a calculus requirement, MBA schools also usually require additional financial mathematics courses as a preparatory course before entrace into their program.
Our Business Calculus course is called Applied Calculus - DMAT 201 - 3 credits - from Roger Williams University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Our Applied Calculus course is a general, liberal arts introduction to Calculus. It is not specifically a "business applications of calculus" course. While some courses and textbooks do exist like this, we believe that we, as mathematicians, should let the business concepts be taught by the business school, and while you are in the calculus course, we simply concentrate on the calculus topics. Otherwise, the course gets too long with lots of applications that "muddy the waters" for the student looking to finish the calculus requirement quickly.

Applied Calculus vs Calculus I
MBA students seeking to fulfill their calculus requirement may do so via our Applied Calculus - DMAT 201 - 3 credit course - which is very popular with MBA-bound students.
Even if your MBA school does not require Calculus, your enrollment application to your MBA school will look stronger with more Calculus courses on your academic transcripts.
For most MBA students, a single course like Applied Calculus will suffice.
For those students planning to go to very strongly mathematical MBA program (e.g. Sloan School of Management at MIT), you will actually need to take the ENTIRE Engineering Calculus sequence!

Awesome classes! I was really weak with Calculus, so I retook Calc 1 and kept going into Calc 2. I feel like I finally understood Calculus. The finals were pretty thorough, but not nearly as stressful as the blue book exams. I highly recommend these courses!

Dr. Curtis's courses are very difficult, but they are definitely worth it! I took Calculus 2 from Dr. Curtis in my senior year of high school and went into a combined Calculus 2 and Calculus 3 course my first year of college. This course prepared me, and I found that I already knew much of the Calculus 3 coursework. The most difficult part of these courses, in my opinion, is pacing yourself. If you can keep yourself on track, then you are all good to go!

Excellent course that you can take at your own pace. The instructor is excellent and I was able to get my questions answered quickly and complete this for an EMBA prerequisite. I would recommend this course to anyone trying to learn basics of calculus on their own timeline. The class prepared me well for my coursework at MIT.
