Fall 2027 @ Roger Williams University

If you are shopping around for an Applied Calculus = Survey of Calculus course that you can start immediately, and finish quickly (as quickly as your academic skills allow), then Fall 2027 Distance Calculus @ Roger Williams University may be the right program for you.

Our Survey of Calculus = Applied Calculus course is not a "canned" multiple choice course like those offered at many other schools and MOOCs (which usually do not offer the academic credits on academic transcript that you need). Applied Calculus has a wonderful curriculum, providing an excellent introductory study of Differential and Integral Calculus without the rigor (and trigonometry) found in the engineering-level Calculus I course.

Awesome classes! I was really weak with Calculus, so I retook Calc 1 and kept going into Calc 2. I feel like I finally understood Calculus. The finals were pretty thorough, but not nearly as stressful as the blue book exams. I highly recommend these courses!

I did not enjoy Calculus I at my school. I retook Calculus I, and then Calculus II, over the summer via Distance Calculus and it was awesome. I started my sophomore year back on track and ready for my physics classes. I struggled with the MathLive software but I guess it was alright.

The courses were excellent. Very flexible and engaging and the platform offers a lot of upper-level courses. Dr. Curtis is an outstanding professor and very responsive. I would take again.

After two failed attempts at my university, this course helped me understand Calculus. The live maths tool along with Dr. Curtis were especially helpful, allowing me to visualize concepts and expand my understanding. The explanations were clear, the examples practical, and I could learn at my own pace, which built my confidence. Thank you.
